There is both fogging and scratches. As I look at other q45’s this seems to be a fairly common problem so there must be a way to fix it.
I guess fogging was the wrong description….there seems to be a residue on the outside of the lens which is causing a fogging appearance.

    Fogging is caused when the Headlight assembly becomes cracked or looses its seal. To correct this problem you may need to replace the assembly or some how reseal the assembly.

    take them out, it shouldn’t be that hard, and give them a good scrub. then replace.

    The assembly usually you need to replace the fogging.

    The pads and haze this usually works once.

    The story is quite lengthy email me an hour per headlight to get the story is and ill describe how to clean them up they were so bad they were so bad they were yellow and flat screen tv.
