Am I required to send my Infiniti QX56 to the dealer for maintenance?

I have an Infiniti QX56 2008 model. The Maintenance light recently lighted up, but I don’t have time in this time of year to get it serviced at the Dealership. I have a family trip coming up soon, and I am afraid that my car engine will lock down in the middle of our trip. This has happened to my Mercedes-Benz sedan before. The engine would lock down if I didn’t get the car maintained. Is my Infiniti SUV the same way as my mercedes benz?

    If it is under a warranty, look at the warranty paperwork; if not, then you can take it anywhere. Also, if it is the maintenance light (and not the check engine light - two different things), then it is just a reminder of an item that needs to be replaced…usually the oil change is due

    The state dmv and the warranty will still have to have to have it in writing places like this business of service lite well think theyre bull.
